Mission
HOPE worldwide is an international charity that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, and community-based education, health, and volunteer services to the poor and needy.

History
The International Churches of Christ founded HOPE worldwide in 1991 in response to the Scriptures’ call to serve the poor and needy throughout the world. Its non-sectarian programs serve disadvantaged children and the elderly, provide education, and deliver medical services in developing communities. Today HOPE worldwide operates on every inhabited continent.
HOPE worldwide initiated programs in the Greater China region through the Hong Kong affiliate, HOPE worldwide, ltd, beginning in 1993. We strive to build a compassionate and cohesive society where every individual can achieve his potential. Current programs serve underprivileged children and youth, their families, and vulnerable elderly in Hong Kong and support poor children in rural communities and urban slum in the Mainland China.
