Elderly Fall Prevention Day (NT) 24-Jun-2010

Co-organized with the Hong Kong Housing Authority, HOPE worldwide’s Elderly Fall Prevention Day is ready to roll in the New Territories. As part of its “Healthy Ageing for Seniors Living in Public Housing Programme”, volunteers visit six housing estates in the NT region during June and July assessing elderly’s risk for falls. Elderly who are found to be in the high-risk category, volunteers will refer them to a professional physiotherapist for further follow up.

This service is provided for anyone who is 60 years or older. The following shows the dates and locations.
