About Laurence Lai
A native of Hong Kong, Laurence is passionate about his craft. He sees potential photos everywhere, in any weather, and all the time. During the past few years, at the invitation of HOPE worldwide, Laurence visited and photographed the poor children living in rural villages in Yunnan and Gansu provinces.
The product of his Yunnan trip was exhibited at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008. In 2009, Laurence co-organized the "Through the Kids' Eyes" program with HOPE worldwide where he taught photography to Hong Kong's underprivileged children. The photos they took were displayed at exhibitions around Hong Kong.
About Rock Li
Rock is a passionate young man. He's passionate about China, about photography, and about helping children. Rock joined HOPE worldwide in 2007, focusing his effort on meeting the needs of children in rural areas. Through his pictures, you will sense his love and passion to bring hope and change the lives of needy children.
